Jonathan Quick; A Member of the Jedi Force?

One of the most controversial news today on the field of ice hockey is the video that showed mysterious pucks that defied the laws of physics and logic of hockey. The man behind this so called telepathic event is none other than, Jonathan Douglas "Jon" Quick, the professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Take a look at this video and see for yourselves if Jon Quick is really not just a great goaltender but also a great Jedi too. So, be ready with your protective clothing so that the force may not be with you, eh. ;)

Athletes Who can Dance

"It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer."

The video of the famous quarterback Tom Brady dancing at the Carnival struck to me the fact that, we, humans are not really born perfect. Brady had it all, a good career,  being one of the most famous man wearing sports clothing, a beautiful wife, money, fame (due to his hair) and even good looks. But when God showered the blessing of dancing ability, I'm sure Brady was sleeping. Just look at this video and see for yourselves...:)

However, there are actually athletes that can dance. Here are some of them:

Basketball Players:
They are good in dribbling and shooting, but surely they could still have a number of fans if they go on dancing careers.

  • Shaq and Lebron

  • Dwight Howard

Football Players
There are too many of them but I'll just give a few.

  • Peyton Manning

  • Warren Harrison Sapp

  • Jerry Lee Rice

Boxers
Would you believe that these men of steels knew how to be graceful at stage? They are surely not a fan of sports clothing but rather of dance wear.

  • Evander Hollyfield

  • Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Wrestler

A wrestler with a flexible body, eh? Just see for yourselves, folks.
  • Stacy Ann Keibler

Gymnasts
Oh, they can surely dance. :)

  • Shawn Johnson

Tennis Players on the News

Serena Williams, the famous woman who wears sports apparel for the tennis world, was hospitalized for pulmonary embolism after she walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

What is Pulmonary Embolism?According to the L.A. Times pulmonary embolism are blood clots in the arteries of the lungs — and they often originate in the legs, travelling up to the lungs.

The former World No.1 of tennis game "underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation."

This was the statement from Ms Williams after the incident:

"Thank you everyone for all of your prayers, concerns, and support. This has been extremely hard, scary, and disappointing. I am doing better, I'm at home now and working with my doctors to keep everything under control. I know I will be ok, but am praying and hoping this will all be behind me soon. While I can't make any promises now on my return, I hope to be back by early summer. That said, my main goal is to make sure I get there safely."
Hope she gets well soon. The tennis world will always wait for her return. :)

Meanwhile, another woman of tennis, Maria Sharapova, change her clothes from sports apparel to a fashionable one for the March edition of Russian Tattler, where she will be featured.

Based from her, the shoot was done "months ago," and that "we tried to do something very different. I hope you enjoy it."

She looks amazingly beautiful yet some of her dresses on that mag are not that gorgeous to behold.
